Lepodordric Dichotomy is a collaboration between Emily Blaser and Kristen McLaren, seniors in KCAI’s fiber program. They are working with moths (Lepidoptera) which both create the material, silk, and destroy, wool. They are working with traditional textile processes, including weaving, and video projection. They are using the scientific approach in order to create their work, treating each piece as an experiment.
